In the early days of electronics, vacuum tubes did everything from logic to output amplification. MICROPHONIC puts the voltage back: two thyratron relaxation oscillators, five valves you can swap, and one shared power supply that sags, hums, and warms up like the real thing. Patch it with cables, play it from the keyboard, and tap the glass.

Five valve sockets — OSC, FILTER, AMP, ECHO, SPRING — each swappable between 12AX7, 12AU7, 6SN7, EF86, 6L6, EL84, KT88, EL34, 6V6GT, and a rolled IMPOSSIBLE valve, all drawn from 3D renders
The AMP socket uses the same solved-circuit valve model as THERMION, followed by an output transformer, rectifier (valve or silicon), and a 12-inch speaker cabinet
One shared power supply: SAG, HUM, WARM-UP (up to ten seconds to full level), AGE, and motorboating when the rectifier is pushed. A hatch opens onto seven trimmers on the circuit board
Patch cables between 13 PATCH OUT jacks — oscillators, envelope, LFO, noise, drift, sequencer, key, velocity, wheel — and nearly every knob has its own input jack
LFO, AD envelope, spring reverb, valve echo, formant filters, 8-step sequencer with per-step snapshots, and STEREO SPREAD across six voices
Tap the valves and they ring — real microphonics, half pitched ring and half rattle
db-cell built in, 100 factory patches in two banks, and an EZ button that rolls a playable new sound
