Four oscillators, a full patch bay, and a state-variable filter with an INPUT DRIVE stage that distorts inside its own resonant loop — the original's signature scream, modeled all the way down to the resonance itself breaking up under drive. Duophonic voice architecture, a MODULATOR that goes OFF → AM → RING, a sample & hold SAMPLER clocked off OSC 1, and enough patch points to make questionable routing decisions like it's still the Nixon administration. Patch it by hand for hours, or hit EZ to find something you wouldn't have thought of in a million years.
- Four oscillators — OSC 1 steps through triangle/saw/square/pulse/sine across HI/LO range, OSC 2–4 morph continuously via COLOR — feeding a duophonic voice architecture (KB1/KB2)
- State-variable multimode filter sweeping continuously LP↔BP↔HP with resonance driven to self-oscillation, and an INPUT DRIVE stage that saturates the summing node and the resonant loop itself — the 101's signature scream
- Full patch bay — outs and ins covering every oscillator, the filter, both envelopes, the sampler, and the modulator, for routing decisions questionable enough to feel like 1974 again
- MODULATOR: OFF → AM → RING with the carrier fixed to OSC 4; SAMPLER: sample & hold clocked by RATE, sampling OSC 1
- REPEAT mode retriggers the envelope off the sampler's own S&H clock — the voice can play itself with no keyboard gate at all
- Two ADS envelopes with an AMPLITUDE SHAPER selecting which one drives the VCA
- db-cell grit lands right on the filter drive stage; hit EZ to find something you wouldn't have thought of in a million years
