TWO-LAYER POLYPHONIC SYNTHESIZER
DUE
Two layers. One panel. Total disagreement.
Two identical synth layers stacked on one panel — Juno-106 and Jupiter-8 in shape, CS-80 in principle — and both layers sound on every note. They can be linked to move together or split apart to disagree about tuning, filter, envelope, everything, the way a real dual-manual synth argues with itself.
- Two complete synth layers (I and II), independently programmable or linked with a single PANEL switch
- Formant/macro DCO engine with drift, wander, and a dedicated WANDER LFO independent of the main modulation LFO
- Full mixer per layer — OSC, SUB, NOISE — feeding a Roland-style VCF with HPF, FREQ, RES, ENV, LFO, and keyboard tracking
- 16-step arpeggiator with per-step on/off, plus a distortion stage (CRUSH/TONE/MIX) before the output stereo spread
- Independent VCF and VCA envelopes per layer, so layer I and layer II can have completely different dynamic shapes
- Up to 16 voices, mono/link/both voice modes, and a WET/SPREAD output stage for stacking the layers in stereo
