ENVELOPE SYNTHESIS
ENVE
The envelope is the instrument.
Most synths treat the envelope as an afterthought shaping someone else's oscillator. ENVE flips that: the envelope IS the sound source. Draw a curve across five tracks — amp, pitch, wave, tone, and filter/mod — riding one shared time axis, and a carrier (sine, saw, noise, or an imported sound) gets multiplied against it directly, the same math that makes AM radio and ring modulators work, repurposed as a playable instrument.
- Five-track envelope engine — PITCH, MOD, WAVE, TONE, ATTACK/RELEASE — all editable by hand on one shared time axis
- Carrier section: sine, triangle, saw, pulse, impulse, or an imported sound/envelope, plus reso, comb, FM, grain, and crush shaping
- Low-pass filter swept directly by the envelope, with its own cutoff, resonance, drive, and envelope-amount knobs
- Exciter section (pluck, velocity, drive) determines how the carrier gets struck before the envelope multiplies it
- Snapshot rack: sixteen full sounds, one per step, each independently editable and playable as a sequence
- Import your own sound or envelope directly into the carrier or envelope tracks, so ENVE can reshape audio that never came from ENVE
