AVALON

ABSTRAKT INSTRUMENTS AVALON RECREATION

The ultimate 303.

The Abstrakt Avalon was built to perfectly replicate a vintage Roland TB-303, then go further — an extra mod envelope, deeper controls, real metal build quality. It was also rare, expensive on the secondary market, and hard to find; some people waited half a decade for delivery. This recreation gives you everything the hardware did, then keeps going: more programming modes, tweakable slide/glide and resonance, Devil Fish mods, every filter cartridge (even your own), four colored skins, and the should-be-patentable EZ buttons. db-cell technology underneath adds the non-repeating analog noise that makes vintage circuits sound the way they do.

AVALON — vintage skin, extended panel with mod section

Vintage — extended panel

The real analog bassline voice: flat-topped saw VCO shaped into the square, a sub oscillator, and the 4-pole diode ladder filter underneath it all
Five swappable filter cartridges — SEM, LADDER, R:OTA, 2044, 4075 — each one its own filter, not a EQ curve pretending to be one
An extra modulation envelope with independent VCF/VCA depth, layered on top of the stock filter envelope and amp decay
A full Devil Fish mod section — resonance, filter width, accent attack, FM, drive, muffle, sweep — each with its own amount knob
A real 16-step sequencer: three clocks (internal, host, MIDI), per-step tie/rest/slide/accent, pattern banks, and live record
EZ SOUND and EZ SEQ randomizers that are checked to never leave the instrument silent
Four cosmetic skins — black, white, red, silver — same circuit under all four
