One knob. Everything moves at once.
One control. At 0% it returns your signal bit for bit. Past that, AMOUNT drives three saturators, two compressors, and a lookahead limiter together — three curves arriving at three different points on the travel so the knob has an arc: it thickens, then it colours, then it bites. A socket up front holds twenty-five characters — a carbon telephone, a germanium fuzz, a 15" speaker cabinet, tape print-through, an AM radio, a broken bit — switchable before or after the drive stack, plus a RANDOM slot that builds a whole new machine from a four-character seed.

- RANDOM ROM builds an entire signal chain from a 4-character seed (1,048,576 possible machines) — type a code back in to recall the exact same machine on any computer, any session
- Bit-exact null at knob zero across all 25 ROMs in both slots — "at 0% it does nothing" is measured, not claimed
- Loudness rises with the knob by design, bounded so nothing ever comes out quieter than bypass, and the ceiling holds at every position on every kind of program material
- Write your own ROM as a plain-text .okrom file — ten DSP stages, no compiler needed, drop it in a folder and it shows up in the socket with its name on the chip
- Full MIDI-learn on the knob, the socket, and the seed window; a lookahead limiter is the last thing in the signal path, always
