Sixteen unlabelled knobs in a 4x4 grid on a stained plank, two toggles — LANE morphs the whole rack, TRIG makes the sequencer play notes. A monophonic synthesiser underneath, wired so nothing you touch is ever wrong: the bottom of the box is a bare sine, the top is an uncontrolled noisy drone, and everything between is yours to discover with your ears instead of a manual.
- Sixteen knobs, zero labels — two oscillators, a wavefolder, a key-tracked ladder filter with feedback, comb/ring mod, bitcrush, drive, and an envelope, all hidden in a bare 4x4 grid
- LANE and TRIG are independent: morph the whole rack on a 16-step lane, gate it into a sequence, or run both at once
- Snapshot lane ported from AVALON — scenes are deviations from the live panel, not absolutes, so your hands always win
- A real look-ahead brickwall limiter on the output, not a soft clip — bit-identical below the ceiling, guaranteed at it
- EZ button rolls all sixteen knobs uniformly — audited over 2000 rolls through the real engine: no NaN, nothing silent, nothing over the bound
- External MIDI clock, host transport, or free-running standalone clock — whoever's actually clocking it wins
