8-BIT VECTOR SYNTHESIZER

Everybody's first computer, good and dirt cheap.

Four chip oscillators per voice — SID, 2A03, Atari, AY, OPL, or your own drawn wave — mixed on a Prophet-VS-style joystick, through a filter, two envelopes, and a "driver" layer that behaves the way 80s music drivers did. Everything then runs through one shared output stage: converter, op-amps, drive, transformer, a 12-bit delay, and a cheap reverb. Eight pads each hold a whole voice, there's a 16-step sequencer with a scene lane, and 100 factory patches to start from.

80s output stage: converter with jitter, cascaded op-amps with real slew, tape/diode/fold drive, output transformer, a fixed-memory 12-bit delay, and a cheap Schroeder reverb
